Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi

A graphic novel. Book number 4 from my 12 book project. History of the author’s childhood in Iran. Persepolis refers to the ancient capital of the Persian empire.

Warning: This is going to be a short review.

This was my first graphic novel and it was very good. To be honest, I thought it was going to be much better because of all the hype it has gotten. It’s great for learning about Iran after the Islamic revolution. It doesn’t take long to read, but if you’re going for a superhero one or something else not related to history then this won’t be for you. I’m glad I checked it out from the library and it was still worth the read.
