Following up on my posts about bookstores in New York and London, we have moved on to where I live, Florida!
- Books and Books- located in Miami and Key West
- One of the best bookstores ever. Independently owned.
- Steamy Lit- located in Deerfield Beach
- Another very cute romance bookstore. Owned by a Latina veteran.
- Went with other friends who indulged my romance bookstore phase. Saw an indie, local author and bought one of her books.
- Big Apple Bookstore- located in Ft. Lauderdale. Known for used books.
- My goal was to find step backs! If you do not know what a step back is, they are older published romance books that have a simpler cover and then when you open the cover it reveals more scandalous art. I found many!
- Bob’s News and Books- located in Ft. Lauderdale
- You can find anything in there! It looks intimidating on the outside but it was fun and worth it.
- Just an example of what you can find: used books, any kind of magazine, naughty magazines, weird flavored sodas, lotto tickets, and cigars.
- Found a Bridgerton step back!
- You can find anything in there! It looks intimidating on the outside but it was fun and worth it.
- Mama’s Bookstore- located in Dania Beach. Known for a cafe and used and new books.
- Has little nooks to sit and read in. Found a step back as well!
- Old Florida Bookshop- located in Dania Beach. Known for an impressive inventory of rare and used books and art.
- An impressive array of books to choose from including very old and special editions of books.
- Riverview Coffee, Tea, and Books- located in Sebastian.
- Found so many step backs.
- Randomly found it when my friends and I were looking for ice cream.
- Writer’s Block-located in Winter Garden
- A super cute independent bookstore with lots of good stickers and a fun hobby section
